- You need to clean the flooring periodically and regularly. Our recommendation for Alper LVT flooring is for them to be cleaned once a week.
- Before washing these flooring, make sure to clean off any dirt and dust from the LVT flooring. For this matter use a broom. Coarse bristles will cause fine lines and scratches on the LVT flooring surface.
Home Method for Cleaning Alper LVT Floorings:
For washing LVT floorings, there are many cleaning supply products, however, home methods are mostly economical and easier. One of the best methods for cleaning dirt and dust off of plastic floorings is using vinegar.
Vinegar is found in everyone’s home and this has led for it to be used as a cleaner. Basically, due to the acidity property of vinegar, it is a strong corrosive for dirt and filth. Of course, this property had led for this substance to not be appropriate for cleaning most flooring such as wood and laminate parquets. Fortunately, Alper LVT flooring is not amongst this group.
For making an appropriate cleaner for LVT flooring using apple vinegar, mix one cup of vinegar in 4 liters of water. Keep in mind to never use pure vinegar, because it can destroy the LVT flooring’s shine. Using white vinegar will also disinfect the flooring.
After using this solution, clean the flooring using a cloth mop or clean cloth. Make sure to keep washing the mop or cloth with warm water. If the dirt is old, you can add a few drops of dishwashing detergent to your solution, and also to have a shinier flooring, you can add a few drops of baby oil to your solution.
If any stains are made by materials such as pen and nail color, you may use a solvent similar to alcohol, such that you can pour a little alcohol on the stain and use a cloth to clean it. Also, for grease stains, you should use a water and baking soda solution.
Using commercial cleaners and waxes:

– The special waxes for PVC flooring are used to make them glossy and shiny.
